Mangosteen

The mangosteen is an exotic, tropical fruit with a slightly sweet and sour flavour.
Due to its deep purple colour it is also know as the purple mangosteen.
In contrast to its dark skin, the juicy inner flesh is bright white.
Still a relatively obscure fruit, the mangosteen offers many health benefits due to its rich supply of nutrients, fibre and unique oxidants.
